The day is longer than the shower.
You washed at seven. By the time anyone hugs you, it has been twelve hours.
Most deodorants pile a smell on top of a smell, and you end up carrying both. People notice that too.
This one uses the same fermented kakishibu as the Kakiyu bar. It works on the odor instead of hiding it. Aluminum-free and lightly scented. A deodorant, not an antiperspirant.
The bar does the morning, and this does the rest of the day.
The smell after 40 is not sweat.
After 40, the skin makes a new oil, and that oil is what smells. It is called nonenal, and it is not sweat. Soap and water slide over it the way water slides over a greasy pan, so another shower changes nothing. A scent laid over it leaves the oil where it was.
Kakishibu is the juice of unripe persimmons. It is pressed green and fermented for months, until it turns deep amber. Ours is made by the traditional Japanese kakishibu method and certified at over 90% tannin, lot-tested. The tannin is the point. Persimmons ripen once a year, so we press one harvest and wait for the next autumn.
Persimmon soap got popular, and the copies followed. A persimmon scent in a plain bar, and no fermented fruit under it. Scent covers a smell. Fermented kakishibu works on it. This stick is lightly scented, but the kakishibu does the work, the same extract as the bar. We would rather run out than stretch it.
It takes a moment, once a day.
1. Wash with the bar. Pat the skin dry.
2. Apply to clean, dry skin. Once a day.
3. Give it a moment to settle. Then dress.
What is inside.
Fermented kakishibu does the odor work. Minerals and plant oils do the rest, held together with beeswax, and there is no aluminum in it.
Try it free.
Pay only if it works.
Use it for 60 days. If you do not smell the difference, and the people close to you do not notice it either, email us and we refund every cent. No forms, no return shipping, no hard feelings.
